Brand Management Has a New Mandate
Brand consistency was once primarily about design systems and style guides. Today it demands something bigger: the ability to distribute content at scale, protect brand integrity across every channel and format, govern with AI rather than against it, and stay visible in a world where AI search engines increasingly stand between your brand and your audience.
This workshop series, presented by JAKALA and Acquia, gives digital experience and brand leaders a hands-on day to build skills across the full spectrum of modern brand management – from proving your DAM's impact to stakeholders, to treating AI as a governance co-admin, to owning your brand narrative in a zero-click world.
Workshop Series Sessions
Four back-to-back sessions running through the afternoon of April 28. Each session is hands-on and practitioner-focused.
This session is designed to help you move from being a file manager to a strategic content architect. We will get hands-on with Acquia Insights to build dashboards that prove your DAM’s impact on the brand. Then, we’ll pivot: how to pitch a unified content supply chain to skeptical stakeholders. You’ll leave with a vision for how connecting the DAM to the broader ecosystem creates a faster, more protected brand presence.
Scaling a brand shouldn’t mean scaling your manual workload. We’ll explore how to treat AI as your “co-admin” within Acquia DAM. We’ll prototype workflows using LLMs to handle metadata generation, natural language search optimization, and automated tagging. This session is about using AI to protect your brand standards while promoting your content at the speed of the modern market.
In this session, we focus on expanding the DAM’s role by connecting it to your broader marketing stack, including your CMS and workflow tools. We’ll map out how to build a closed-loop supply chain that ensures your content reaches its destination faster, stays protected throughout its journey, and delivers a consistent brand experience everywhere.
This session explores how organizations can maintain brand awareness in a zero-click environment, where AI search engines summarize, compare, and recommend institutions on behalf of prospective customers. We’ll cover the current state of LLM-driven search and the evolution of SEO into AEO and GEO. Our experts will offer practical strategies for ensuring your organization remains visible, trusted, and top-of-mind in this new era of audience engagement.
What you’ll take away
- A framework for being found, cited, and trusted by AI engines — across four pillars: Structured Content Model, Decision-Driven Content, Machine Readability, and Authority & Distribution.
- New metrics for AI visibility: Citation Rate, Referral Traffic, Share of Voice, Prompt Coverage, and AI Sentiment.
- A starting point: audit your AI presence, identify gaps across key topics and platforms, then build a scalable content foundation.
Your Speakers for “Brand Awareness in a Zero-Click World”
Mandee Englert and Chaney Moore lead JAKALA’s work with some of the most complex client organizations in higher education, nonprofits, Fortune 500 enterprises, and cultural institutions. Mandee joined JAKALA in 2021 after serving as Assistant Director of Digital Strategy at Penn State for six years. She specializes in developing strategies tailored to the unique needs of higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and sports, media, and entertainment venues — moving beyond generic approaches to deliver solutions in website analytics, user experience research, redesign roadmapping, content optimization, and training.
At Penn State, Mandee led major digital transformations including the university’s flagship website (psu.edu), its news platform, and the digital presence for 20 Commonwealth campuses. Her work spans diverse organizations from top-tier universities to cultural institutions and global nonprofits, bringing deep expertise in navigating complex stakeholder environments and institutional priorities.
